As the parent of a high school senior, the time to decide on college is here! Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) invites you to explore the many opportunities we offer to support and guide your soon-to-be graduate on their path to success.
With over 70 areas of study, TMCC allows students to explore a variety of degree options without breaking the bank. To provide further assistance we invite all Class of 2025 students to apply to TMCC's Nevada Promise Scholarship. This last-dollar scholarship covers the cost of mandatory tuition and fees not met by other forms of financial aid, making college much more affordable for your family. However, time is of the essence! The deadline to apply is Oct. 31, 2024 and all eligible students must complete the application before this date to ensure they don't miss out on this incredible opportunity.
Fun fact: Over half of our students plan to complete their first and second-year college classes with us before they transfer to a four-year university. Our transfer agreements with Nevada universities create a smooth transition process. TMCC makes this possible because we offer the same first and second-year college classes as a four-year university—at half the cost! Our lower tuition rates save your family thousands of dollars towards earning a college degree, helping to minimize or even avoid student debt for your college-bound child.
